Rules & Regulation:
1. Red Cross Million Volunteer Run is a recreational walk for men and women ages 3 and up.
2. Participants below 18 years old must have their parent/guardian sign the Million Volunteer Parental Consent Form and submit to any of the Philippine Red Cross Chapters.
3. Registration fee for each participant is P1,000.
4. Payments for the Million Volunteer Run are accepted in any of the Red Cross chapters nationwide, and will be issued an Official Receipt.
5. Participants will receive a Race Kit which includes the Singlet, Race Bib, Disaster Preparedness Guide, and Red Cross 143 ID Card.
6. Race bib number must be worn at all times during race. It should be pinned in front of your official Run shirt.
7. Race date is on Sunday, December 4, 2011.
8. Race starts promptly at 6:00 AM. Assembly is at 5:00 AM.
9. Participants must wear their singlet and bib in order to participate in the Million Volunteer Run.
10. Participants may walk or rest upon their discretion.
11. There will only be 3 winners for the different categories (1st, 2nd, 3rd), male and female.
12. Race organizers reserve the right to disqualify or refuse registration of Runners whom they deem is not in accordance with the Race Rules and Regulations.
13. All protests related to the results must be made in writing and submitted to the Race Director within 30 minutes after the official announcement of the winners.
14. The organizers reserve the right to alter any of the above rules and regulations they may deem necessary to ensure the success of the race. The decision of the organizers is final.
Water & First Aid Stations:
Drinking water and First-Aid stations will be provided at selected points along every race route.
Toilet Area:
Toilet cubicles will be available at the site during the race.
Parking Area:
All participants and other speculators are required to park their vehicles at allocated parking area. Please do not leave any valuables inside your vehicle. Organizers will not be liable for any loss or damage.
Baggage Area:
Baggage deposit service is available at the activity area from 4:00AM to 10:30AM. Please make sure to keep your claim stub and present it to claim your valuables.
Waiver, Release and Identification:
I AGREE to comply with the rules, regulations, and event instructions of the Red Cross Million Volunteer Run. I UNDERSTAND that participating in this activity may be potentially hazardous and can result in serious injury or death. I am aware of and I expressly assume all inherent risks associated with participating in this event, including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, and objects, the effects of weather, including high heat and humidity, traffic, and the conditions of the road.
IN CONSIDERATION of your accepting this entry, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release from any and all claims for injuries and damages I may have against the Philippine Red Cross, the Sponsors, their Agents and Representatives caused by the negligence of any of them arising out of my participation in this event, including pre and post-race activities.
I ATTEST that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for competition of the Red Cross Million Volunteer Run.
I CONSENT to receive medical treatment which may be advisable in the event of illness or injuries suffered by me during this event, and I agree to pay for the costs of my medical treatment.
I GIVE PERMISSION for the free use of my name, voice, or picture in any broadcast, telecast, advertising promotion or other account of this event.
I AGREE that submission of this application constitutes agreement of all the terms of this waiver and release statement.
